Aibi Overview:

Overall, Living AI’s Aibi is a very interesting and unique tiny robot companion. It is currently the only robot of such a small size to have a decent level of autonomy, movement capabilities, and app access.

When left alone on your desk, Aibi will spin around on his charging base and perform various different cute actions. If he sees your face (depends heavily on lighting) he will stare at you and maybe say your name. You can also pet him and feed him using the app. You get points for food by taking him for walks in his carrying lanyard.

Overall, Aibi is cool but occasionally misses the mark. It can sometimes be hard to get him to listen to voice commands, and his autonomy isn’t as high as other robots in this price range – though it is very high, if not the highest in the current market, for a robot of his size. There are really no others like him, and that makes him stand out.

Battery life is a bit of an issue with Aibi when he is off his charging stand. He lasts generally for about an hour, which feels too short for many people. But… he’s tiny, so he has a tiny battery. It’s unfortunate, but expected.

Aibi’s main appeal is his size and ability to be carried around in a cute magnetic lanyard, and the fact that Living AI is a fantastic and reliable company. They are highly likely to push many updates to Aibi and give him more value, so if you like this robot because he is tiny and cute, he may be worth it for you.

Aibi is not really a toy and is much more of a true companion robot. He is best for older children, teenagers, and primarily adults.
